Accessibility Statement

Catalyst wants visitors to be able to learn about our consulting, listen to podcast episodes, read the Hands Up material, explore acquisition services, and contact the team regardless of ability, device, or input method.

We treat accessibility as part of design, content, development, and maintenance rather than a one-time checklist. We will make reasonable efforts to remove barriers we identify and to provide an alternative path when immediate remediation is not possible.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA and to support the accessibility principles reflected in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable requirements.

This is a target and ongoing commitment, not a claim that every page, historical asset, or third-party service has been independently certified or is fully conformant in every combination of browser and assistive technology.

Current accessibility measures include:

• Semantic page landmarks, ordered headings, descriptive page titles, and a declared page language.
• A “Skip to main content” link and keyboard-accessible navigation and privacy controls.
• Visible focus treatment on primary links, buttons, and form controls.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative imagery where implemented.
• Responsive layouts designed to reflow on smaller screens and at browser zoom.
• Dark-ink and foil-gold design tokens selected with readable foreground contrast for core text and controls.
• Labels, instructions, status messages, and appropriately sized targets on interactive controls.
• Accessibility review during significant page and component changes, supported by automated checks and manual keyboard review.

The site is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA where native HTML alone does not communicate the necessary state. It is intended to work with current major versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge and with common desktop and mobile assistive technologies.

Older browsers, unusual browser-extension combinations, disabled JavaScript, or unsupported assistive-technology versions may produce a different experience. If a feature does not work for you, contact us and we will offer another way to access the information where reasonably possible.

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet the target. Areas that may depend on technology outside Catalyst's direct control include:

• Third-party newsletter content provided by Beehiiv, whose embedded form and assistive-technology support are outside Catalyst's direct control.
• Audio and external media experiences hosted by podcast platforms, YouTube, Buzzsprout, or other distributors.
• Historical or imported articles and episode content whose source formatting or media descriptions may be incomplete.
• External documents and websites linked for context but maintained by other organizations.

We do not use a third-party limitation as a reason to ignore a barrier. Tell us what you need, and we will work to provide the same information or function through an accessible alternative.

We will acknowledge the request as promptly as reasonably possible, investigate it, and communicate an available solution or expected next step. Accessibility feedback is used only to respond, improve the site, and maintain appropriate records.

We review this statement and the site's key paths after significant design or platform changes and periodically as standards and assistive technologies evolve. Material revisions will be reflected in the “Last reviewed” date above.
